Dunnington Mansion

Forsaken Beauty: Vintage and deserted. An abandoned, Victorian Mansion ideal for that unique artistic eye to showcase an extra-ordinary beauty. This 8500 square foot home offers 3 floors including the attic (stunning). The original 19th century conservatory or orangery is still standing and is an extremely rare find!! Over 90% of these personal greenhouses from that era no longer exist! This truly is a one-of-a-kind location! The property itself is abandoned, but it is located just minutes from Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College and all the amenities of a college town. Proceeds go to The Dunnington Mansion Foundation, a registered 501c3 nonprofit for the purposes of rehabilitating the structure so it is not lost to time.

Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness

America's 250th anniversary (and Virginia's beautiful Mount Vernon), get the Larry David treatment in the upcoming series "Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness," premiering on HBO on Friday, June 26! New episodes will air every Friday through August 7, following Larry's characteristically unconventional journey through the people, places, and stories that have shaped the nation. As you watch, keep an eye out for George Washington's Mount Vernon, where the production filmed scenes in the estate's new Education Center. The state-of-the-art facility plays a featured role in the series and highlights Mount Vernon's ongoing efforts to bring America's founding story to new generations.
